ALANA MUELLER

STOTT PILATES® Mat & Reformer, Level 1 Qualified Trainer

  • STOTT PILATES® Comprehensive Mat Qualified Trainer
  • STOTT PILATES® Reformer, Level 1 Qualified Trainer

Growing up in Hawai’i, Alana spent her days hiking, swimming, surfing, and biking. Alana has always been a lover of movement, believing that it is more than exercise and physical therapy, but also a mental therapy that aligns body, mind, and spirit. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Gonzaga University where her appreciation for movement grew. While working in New York City in set design (building and painting sets), she realized the physical demands had been strenuous on her body. Researching ways to recuperate, she discovered Pilates as a modality to recondition and strengthen her body, so she could continue to enjoy her activities, pain free.

Alana believes Pilates compliments all ranges of individuals, whether it be training an athlete, assisting a client with post rehab, or an individual that wants to slow down the signs of aging. Her goal as an instructor is to create a supportive atmosphere to help clients cultivate a deeper mind body connection as well as allow clients to take time for themselves through movement. She strives to guide people to feel appreciation for their bodies, and for them to leave a session with a sense of freedom to continue movement with stability and confidence.

Alana is actively furthering her STOTT PILATES® education.
